Electronic Communications Privacy Act

This suggestion comes from CAIR-NY, who gave us some great postcarding ideas for Ramadan. Here’s one that helps, well… anyone who uses a phone!

The Electronic Communications Privacy Act, S5730 and A01895 is in committee in the Assembly and Senate right now. It’s a broad privacy bill that asks that law enforcement get a search warrant for anything electronic, with the exception of situations that federal law covers. Everyone would benefit from this, so please get in touch with the committee members in the Assembly and Senate.
